The Opportunity

Greystone Energy Systems is seeking a LabVIEW™ Developer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing applications in LabVIEW for testing products in an Engineering and Production environment.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software applications using LabVIEW™

• Perform design, code review and debugging using established coding standards

• Design, create and modify device drivers for instruments and control purposes

• Experience with databases tools (SQL Views, queries, stored procedures)

• Use source code management tools

• Provide support for production line software issues

Education, Training & Experience

· At least 1-year experience with National Instruments LabVIEW™

· Skills and experience to understand, maintaining, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code.

· Experience on NI Hardware and other standalone equipment like DMM, Power supplies etc..

· Coding experience with database tools (SQL).

Skills and Competency Requirements

· Proficient in C/C++ programming.

· Understanding of communication protocols: I2C, UART, SPI, TCP/IP, USB.

· Hands-on experience with low-level/embedded TCP/IP stacks.

· Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work.

· Ability to observe, receive and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.

· Possess proficient communication skills.

· Creative and Innovative.

· Ability to write clear test procedures or documentation for programs.
